LISD Board Holds Budget Workshop; Discusses 1:X™ Tuesday night, the Board of Trustees held a budget workshop to review revenue sources and expenditures for the 2013-14 school year. Also, the Board heard a brief update on the district’s 1:X™ implementation for this upcoming school year. |

EdCampLewi 
June 12, Lewisville ISD (LISD) held its annual EdCampLewi, a unique camp allowing teachers from across the district to share directly with their peers on how they are using technology in the classroom. Also, students reflected on how technology allows them to engage in their learning, showcasing mobile apps aligned with the curriculum, as the student in the photo is demonstrating.

LISD Building Neighborhood Connections
The Lewisville Independent School District is seeking participants to be part of the INSIDE leadership program for the 2013-14 school year. INSIDE, which stands for Interested Neighbors Staying Informed of District Efforts, launched this unique program three years ago. To date, more than 120 citizens have spent a year going behind-the-scenes to learn how the district operates.
